I've only admired Jane Goodall since the 1960s because I wasn't around before that time.

If she were an average person instead of an extraordinarily rare combination of intellect, conscience, compassion, and commitment, especially to the preservation of all life on Earth, we would all be peacefully sharing the bounty of this amazing world.

Sadly, for all of us she's a very rare breed indeed.
