 This Spam Blonde seems to be a bright young girl, I'd like to talk to her about books.

I'd explain to her that sometimes smart people record their painstakingly acquired knowledge in words that they write down, which enables educated people who can read to learn about things, even after the author has passed away. Many books can be found and read for free at public libraries.

Libraries have tons of books about almost everything, including history. I'd like to suggest reading one to her but I don't want to embarrass her, I doubt she can read.
