We don't vote for representatives to ensure they have a lucrative career. We expect them to represent us. I haven't seen much of that in the last half century.

A profit-driven healthcare system designed to make individuals tremendously wealthy, while bankrupting the general public is, dare I say it, nonsensical. Or evil. Evil is another word that works here.

I know Republicans won't do the right thing.

I don't expect Democrats to do the right thing.

I would be thrilled to be proven wrong.
